Penny Grigg
Grigg, Penny (Penelope Dorothy)
1958-2012
Penny Grigg passed away peacefully, March 5, 2012 at the Palliative Care Centre of the Montreal General Hospital, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Loving mother of Jason Grigg-Tait and Jessie Grigg-Farquahar; mother-in-law of Kala Grigg-Tait (Carrol); devoted daughter of Ronald and Dorothy Grigg; beloved sister of Stephen, Darryl, Trevor and Ted Grigg; and estranged wife of Ray Farquahar. Penny's generous and loving spirit was an inspiration to all who knew her. Her kindness and compassion toward others was a beacon to us all. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to all of those who provided care to Penny, especially the staff at the Palliative Care Centre of the Montreal General Hospital. Visitation to take place at the Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 boul. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux (514-685-3344) on Friday, March 9 from 4:00-7:00 pm. A funeral service to honour and celebrate Penny's life will be held at the Rideau Chapel on Saturday, March 10 at 3:00 (following a short visitation from 2:30-3:00).
Donations in her memory may be made to the Montreal General Palliative Care Centre or NOVA Hudson.
